Ropebound

Three young scouts set out with ropes in their hands and stories in their heads. But the forest has other plans. Their imagination might be the only way through.

The scout's handbook did not cover this—can you help them out?

Use the Scout’s special ropes to survive! 
🔥Flame Rope: ignite fire within the rope
❄️Frost Rope: create icy walls to block paths or trap
🌿Ivy Rope: pull enemies together

🐰🐸🦌 Unique enemies will spawn the more time you stay alive
some will have special abilities if left unchecked...

Survive as long as you can! If all three scouts are knocked down, the run is over.

This game is part of the GMTK 2025.
Our take on the theme loop is to have the player draw physical loops around enemies (inspired by Pokémon Rangers), while you simultaneously loop through the abilities of the girl scouts.
